Genevieve Gilmore

Learnosity

Genevieve is a 20 year veteran in EdTech, starting out writing algorithms for adaptive learning in her days as a Physics teacher.

She is currently Chief Operations Officer at Learnosity, a B2B, Software as a Service education technology company that offers a suite of assessment technologies (APIs) which enable organizations from a wide range of sectors, to easily incorporate powerful, interactive assessment capabilities into any digital product, new or existing.

In her role at Learnosity, Genevieve is responsible for leading continuous improvement, including sales activities, brand vision,internal staff training as well as strategic analysis, and program budgeting.
Prior to joining Learnosity Genevieve held a variety of roles at 3P Learning, a global leader in online mathematics and literacy learning, which took her all over the globe as she set up and expanded their global operations in Canada, the UK and France. She also headed up the team responsible for the implementation and launch of the Arabic version of Mathletics.

In 2007, her passion for how education can change lives led her to work with a like-minded team, co-founding World’s Math Day in 2007. In association with UNICEF, the day has now grown into the World Education Games which includes both World Literacy Day and World Science Day. With over 5 million students participating in the last games, it has become the world’s largest free online education competition. As a direct result of the Games, enough UNICEF School-in-a-Box packs have been donated to send 33,000 students to school in developing countries.

She has lived in the UK, USA, EU and NZ, and is currently living in Sydney with her husband and four boys.
